Jill A. Shaw graduated from the University of Arizona in 2001 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. She joined Heinfeld, Meech & Co., P.C. shortly thereafter. Jill has supervised more than 185 financial and compliance audits for school districts, municipalities, charter schools, counties, nonprofit organizations and community colleges.

As an active professional, Jill is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA). Jill has also spoken professionally on various accounting and compliance related issues at conferences and workshops sponsored by our firm and AASBO.

In addition, Jill has assisted with several consulting engagements including fixed assets inventory and reconciliation, policy and procedural reviews, and special investigations. Jill also made significant contributions to the Arizona Department of Education Cost Study of Special Education Programs in 2001, 2003 and 2005. Jill has also reviewed numerous Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFRs) for ASBO International's Certificate of Excellence (COE) program.
