You're ready to join H&M and become part of a growing and innovative firm that is one of the Best Places to Work in America.  So, what do you need to do?

Submit Your Resume

If you currently are a student at the University of Arizona, Arizona State University (main or west), or Northern Arizona University, you should submit your resume to your university career center to be considered for an on-campus interview with our firm.

If you are any other kind of candidate, submit your resume to us directly.   After we have received your resume, your qualifications will be reviewed by our recruiting team.  Based on the hiring needs of our offices and divisions, applicants will then be contacted to begin the interview process.

First round
A first-round 30 minute interview will be conducted (ideally face to face but in some cases via telephone).  For campus recruiting, these interviews will be scheduled through the university's career center.

The first interview will provide both you and us with the opportunity to get to know each other and learn if the specific job opportunity will match your interests, experience and goals.  After this round, you may be asked to participate in the next step of the process.  If so, we will contact you to schedule a second interview for you.   If we determine that your career path might be better served somewhere else, you will receive a written or verbal notice in a timely manner so that you can continue your search.

Second round (Office Visit)
Your second interview will last for approximately 60 to 90 minutes.   This step in the interview process consists of an office visit when you will meet with two to three people.  These interviews usually include at least one meeting with a partner of the firm.  This visit provides you with the opportunity to talk to us about the opportunity at H&M and learn more about our firm culture and the specific job requirements.   In addition, our staff will ask you a variety of questions about your background and experience as they would relate to the career opportunity at H&M.   We also recommend that you bring a copy of your college transcripts and/or reference information with you to the visit.  Afterwards, our recruiting team will evaluate your application and make a final employment decision.

Throughout the process, we will keep you informed of your status and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please note that this process does vary slightly based on office and division.

Externships (Campus Recruiting only)
You may also be asked to participate in our Externship Program.  Usually occurring in late May, this program is intended to give college students an inside view of working at a public accounting and consulting firm.  It provides the ability to prepare for and participate in the preliminary fieldwork for one of our audits.  During this three to five day program, the student will learn the roles and levels of conducting an audit with guidance from the Heinfeld, Meech & Co. team and get to know the unique culture and people that make up our firm.

Throughout the process, we will keep you informed of your status and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please note that this process does vary slightly based on office and division.
